Our after-school program (ASP) provides an innovative approach to learning Chinese language as well as Chinese culture for children in pre-school through 6th grade.

Conducted mostly in Chinese, ASP classes present a series of exciting cultural and social activities that covers a wide range of interests and learning styles while immersing the students in the Chinese language naturally.

A typical week at ASP include these activities:

Monday: Arts and Crafts (or Cooking) and Board Games

Tuesday: Chinese Language Arts and Visual Arts

Wednesday: Math and Music

Thursday: Chinese Language Arts and Card Games

Friday: Martial Arts and Chinese Checkers

Families may sign up for 2 to 5 days a week, from 3:30 pm up to 6 pm. YHIS families receive enrollment preference as well as a discount when signing up for ASP.
