Each year in late January or early February, YHIS and the larger community gather to celebrate one of the most important holidays of the Chinese culture - Chinese New Year - with fabulous performances, delicious food and cultural activities. On stage, you will be dazzled by our very own students as well as professional performers. On the buffet tables, you will find authentic Chinese food as well as an assortment of delicacies from around the world prepared by YHIS families. Chinese New Year Celebration is also an important fundraising event at YHIS.
