YHIS children embody and celebrate diversity. They boast varied backgrounds, including all in- habited continents of our Earth. As a result, many YHIS students are multilingual.
Our YHIS community of families is multicultural, multi-ethnic, globally minded, forward thinking, open, and inclusive. The YHIS Family Association is a vibrant organization that supports parents, students, and staff members in many ways, such as by sponsoring an autumn outdoor movie night and end-of-year picnic, helping with open houses, facilitating book clubs for adults, and hosting social events to help build community.
