Big Bao & Little Bao Time
Your baby's first Mandarin class. Together.
Little Dumplings is a warm, playful class where babies and their grown-ups explore the world together through language, movement, music, sensory experiences, and Chinese culture.
Parents, grandparents, and caregivers are all welcome. You do not need to speak Mandarin to participate.
Little ears are made for language.
Babies are constantly listening, noticing patterns, and building the foundations of communication. Little Dumplings offers gentle, joyful exposure to Mandarin during a stage when children are naturally tuned in to sound, rhythm, faces, and connection.
What Happens Each Week?
A little routine. A lot of discovery.
Each 50-minute class follows a comfortable rhythm while leaving plenty of room for babies to explore at their own pace.
Welcome Circle
Familiar greetings, connection, and a gentle beginning.
Sensory & Floor Play
Age-appropriate discovery through textures, toys, and exploration.
Music & Movement
Songs, rhythm, movement, and playful Mandarin language exposure.
Storytime
Engaging stories shared in a warm and interactive setting.
Cultural Activities
Simple experiences inspired by Chinese language and culture.

Wondering what to expect?
Do I need to speak Mandarin?
Absolutely not. Little Dumplings is designed for families with any level of Mandarin experience, including none at all.
Who can attend with my baby?
Parents, grandparents, and other caregivers are welcome. We use “grown-up” intentionally because families come in many forms.
What ages is the class designed for?
Little Dumplings is designed for babies from birth through 18 months.
Can I attend just one class?
Yes. Drop-in classes are $25, and your first class is free.
When does the program begin?
Our first Little Dumplings session begins in January 2027.
What should we bring?
Just bring your usual baby essentials and come ready to play, connect, and explore together.
